Swapna holds a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy with specialization in Orthopedics, from University of Indianapolis, Indiana, USA and currently holds an active USA Physiotherapy license. She has 7 years of Physiotherapy experience in treating various musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Swapna incorporates evidence based practice in her treatment as every patient is unique and responds differently to the same treatment provided. She practices manual therapy including MET (Muscle energy techniques), Myo fasical releases, Dry needling, Graston’s technique for scar tissue mobilization, Kinesio Taping and Osteopathic Spinal Manipulations.
Swapna has Extensive Experience in: – Treating patients suffering with ailments of cervical/lumbar spine, frozen shoulders/rotator cuff injuries, fractures, joint replacements of (hip/ knee/shoulder), ligament injuries, Upper limb/lower limb amputation and sports related injuries – Treating patients suffering with various neurological conditions like Stroke, Cerebellar ataxia, Guillain Barre’ syndrome, Parkinson’s, Spinal cord injuries, Multiple Sclerosis, Bell’s palsy etc.
Swapna practices yoga regularly and her interests also include playing badminton and rock climbing.
